What is auriculotherapy?
Auriculotherapy — also called auricular medicine or ear acupuncture — uses points on the auricle (external ear) to treat conditions of the body. Practitioners across acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathic, and dental fields use it for pain, addictions, internal disorders, and emotional issues.
The problem charts cannot solve
Every ear is a little different. With hundreds of auriculotherapy points, it is practically impossible to remember where all of them are and locate them accurately in the treatment room.
It gets even more complex when you start combining points into treatment protocols. You need accuracy in the moment — not failed treatments, guesswork, or giving up.

History
Auriculotherapy is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the 1950s, Dr. Paul Nogier of Lyon, France expanded Chinese ear charts into a comprehensive system — the ear as a micro-map of the entire body.
Much of Dr. Nogier's work has been verified in research; both Chinese and European systems build on it.
Uses
Auriculotherapy is widely used for pain control, addictions, internal disorders, emotional issues, and more. Medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopaths, dentists, and trained lay practitioners report strong results when points are applied correctly.
About the points
Point locations in reference material are approximate — all ears differ slightly. The most effective approach treats active points (tender to pressure or found by electrical testing), not every point on a chart.
It is often not necessary to treat both ears in the same session. Treat the ear with the most active points; flip left and right in software when the chart assumes one side. Certain liver and gallbladder protocols call for the right ear only.

Treatment methods
Modern auriculotherapy includes acupuncture needles, pressure, lasers, magnets, and electrical stimulation. Electrical stimulation can both locate active points and deliver treatment.
